Unwrapping Your Gifts (Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-10)

Introduction:

I am the worst at wrapping gifts.

I am horrible at surprises.

One day I bought Tami a gift and decided to get it gift wrapped by a professional at the mall.

The Gift was beautiful.

I was excited because it kept me to keep a secret and the gift was wrapped nicely.

Although that brought me excitement, I was most excited to see Tami unwrap the gift.

You Are a Gifted Child

I use to always ask myself what was my talent/or gift?

As a member of God’s family, you are GIFTED.

Don’t be falsely humble you Gifted by God!

Alexander the Great once gave a golden cup to a peasant. The peasnat responded by saying” This is too much to recieve”, but Alexander responded, “It’s not to much for me to give”

Imagine if the special gift I bought for Tami was never unwrapped.

I would be disappointed and she wouldn’t have received the gift.

At the Judgment Seat of Christ, you will be judged for what you did with your spiritual gift (1 Cor 3)

How you managed your spiritual gift

Therefore, we are going to learn how to unwrap your spiritual gift.

We often divide people up into CLERGY (Full-time ministry)/LAITY (People in the Pews)

If you are saved you have been saved into ministry

God has a ministry for all of us and each of us.
