Rotten To The Core:

Total Depravity: The doctrine of total depravity, is result of the fall. In which man is not capable of love God wholly. However, man is inclined by nature to serve their own will and selfish desires.
Objective: To teach each person that without the revelation of Christ, the acceptance of him, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, no person is able to please God. In addition, no man will ever operate in the will of God, being that all his actions no matter how good they appear, are only tie to his own will even if his action benefits another person
Diagnosis: If we take time to look at this world we can see the illustration of Genesis 6:5, in which God saw that man was not willing of able to do God. Good did notice Noah, but Noah righteousness was declare by God. The bible says that Noah found favor with God. Noah was chosen as an extension of God’s Good Grace.
Prayer
The Background of Total Depravity was brought to the forefront by two men: St Augustine of Hippo and Pelaguis. Although, the idea was made popular by their debating, the truth of total depravity is interwoven throughout the entire gospel. Pelagius, believed in free will, but most of all he pushed asceticism. Whereas Augustine believed that the work of Christ has to present for man to even consider good or of worth.
Soul: Our body is made up of a unique trinity, remember we are made in the image of God. So with God you have the father, son, and the Holy Spirit. Man is made of Flesh, Soul, and Spirit, in which at the Fall of man begin to reason through the flesh and had no use for the Spirit, for on that day man died spiritually. Galatians 5:17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: for these are in opposition to one another, so that you many not do the things that you please.
Christ is the one who says fear the one that can destroy your soul.
