 Introduction: 

Series Purpose: The purpose of this series is to help make God more real in our everyday lives by taking a ______________ and _______________ look at his extraordinary nature against the backdrop of our 21st Century experiences.

Psalm  23:1-6

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me... 

You...comfort me... 

You...anoint my head with oil... 

And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Philippians 3:8-10 – “...I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him….I want to know Christ...”

I John 4:8-10 – “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

John 10:11 – “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
