A Defining Moment

One of the Greatest moments in your life is when you are able to know what you believe you are purposed to do. When it comes to Tommy he was what the Bible calls a “workman”

What is a workman? A mason/bricklayer.

What is so key about the term workman? No matter how high up in their skillset they always operate with the same attention to detail as a novice no matter how experienced they become. When it comes to Tommy he was very gifted the Bible declares that your gift will make room for you and present you before great men.

When you are in place and found faithful and consistent over the small projects God will afford you the opportunity to be apart of historic moments as Tommy was in being a part of building the stadium of this pastor’s most beloved football team the Philadelphia Eagles. I do understand that he was a bearer of the Terrible Towel but I wont’t hold that against him or anybody else in this building but if you are a fan of any of the teams in my division you may exit now, LOL.... This concludes your time here for the memorial, LOL....

The vs. 15 talks of not being ashamed. He was found always loving what he did and helping others out with projects when opportunities and time presented itself. Tommy was selfless when it came to his craft.

I am sure he raised Lacey, Tommy Jr, and Destiny to do what you love, don’t just let life live you, but you should live life through your passion of what you believe you are called to do. Knowing that he was close to them and endearing them all equitably and equally he loved them at their level. I am sure this is something that you all will miss about him kids, but for him you have to grieve, but step up and make him and this family proud.

I want you all to know that he didn’t lose to cancer. I know that this is a belief of what society fosters, but this is actually another form of God healing us (through Divine Healing). He dealt with diabetes as well, so he now no longer has to suffer taking insulin and watching his diet or any of that. This is now his time to live in his new body of immortality.

Friends

As you are going through life God will give you friends. He had friends like Kevin who was there with him throughout this critical duration of his life 1 Sam 18:1 . There are people that God will give you that will become knit to you because that is what God sent friends are. Prov 17:17 there are times when friends become family. I know some of you may have some friends even now that you wish were born into your family and trade out some of the real ones, I know I do, LOL… But we can’t choose our family and I truly believe that we can’t choose our friends either. When God gave Tommy a friend like Kevin He knew exactly why he would need him when he would. Riding Harley’s isn’t the only thing they rode together they rode through the final chapters of an amazing life that Tommy lived.
