I. Yahweh is Completely Holy vs. 1-4

A. Yahweh’s throne is above all thrones. His train is longer than any ruler’s because He reigns over all.
B. The angels are unworthy to look upon Him.
C. To say someone was thrice Holy, means the Holiest of the holy. God is completely holy.
D. The smoke, and shaking shows His judgment. Sin cannot be in the presence of God without judgment.

II. We are Completely Sinful vs. 5

A. Isaiah was ruined because he realized his sinful state. There are two types of people. Those who know they’re sinners and are saved, and those who know they’re sinners and don’t care.
B. Isaiah knew he needed a Savior. He knew that he couldn’t save himself, nor anyone else.

III. God Saves Us Completely vs. 6-7

A. The coal on the alter is a picture of Jesus. He is the sacrifice that we could not make.
B. The Holy Spirit purifies us.
C. We are saved by Jesus’ sacrifice to appease the law and wrath of God, and be in His presence.
D. That’s why Jesus came to Earth, died, and was resurrected.
