LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP!

Stop being content in shallow water.

Luke 5:1-11

We want to stay in the shallow end, sometimes sitting when we KNOW God has given us an assignment. Sometimes you have to just share your story for His glory!

We also try to hold on to things when God clearly said LET GO!

This message dug into the calling of the first disciples. Peter, an experienced fisherman knew the conditions were not right for a catch. But, he trusted Jesus's word.

There is POWER in the word of God.(Luke 5:5-6)

3 things we should do to move past being content in shallow water:

1. Listen - Peter listened to Jesus

2. Act - Bloom right where you are with what you have

3. Trust - Continue to trust God even when you can't "feel" his presence. Trust him even in silence. HE IS ABLE!
