It is impossible to separate the blessings of redemption from the sonship of Christ. From the beginning, God’s promise of salvation has hinged on the arrival of the Son, and in Galatians 3:23-29, Paul explains how that promise has become a reality through the coming of Jesus Christ. In this passage, Paul presents us with a new identity, an identity that we receive through faith in Jesus Christ. The greatest comfort for the believer is to know that they are in fact a son of God with Christ.
