An anonymous man paid $35.00 for a beautiful bowl at a garage sale near New Haven, Connecticut in 2020 and sold it for over $700,000.00 at a Sotheby’s auction. The rare, 15th-century Ming dynasty artifact was expected to fetch “between $300,000.00 and $500,000.00,” but fared much better. What a shame…
