There Will Be Opposition!

2 Timothy 3:12 NKJV

Luke 6:26 NKJV
26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets.
1 Peter 5:8 NKJV
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
1 Corinthians 16:9 NKJV
9 For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

While Nehemiah was overseeing the rebuilding of the wall, there was much opposition.

They were mocked (Neh. 4:1; cf. Mark 15:20, 31; Acts 2:13; 17:32; Heb. 11:36).
They were conspired against (Neh. 4:8; cf. Acts 5:33; 9:23-25; Eph. 4:14).
They were sabotaged (Neh. 4:10; cf. Acts 5:1-11; Phil. 3:8).
They were infiltrated (Neh. 4:11; cf. Jude 4).

How Did They Overcome the Opposition?

They Prayed! (Neh. 4:4, 9).
They Prepared (Neh. 4:13).
They Presumed (Neh. 4:14, 20).
