Obeying God
Obeying God
Obeying God is sometimes hard. He gives hard instructions sometimes. (discuss)
Sometimes, it takes a while before we choose to obey. If we disobey, there is grace and punishment. But if we change our mind later, blessing is yet in store, because He cares about His name.
The blessings of obedience. Money, fleshly desires met, blessing, and a good name.
Unbelief and choosing not to believe in God is a bad choice because He has proven His existence, and the only reason we do that, is because we think He isn’t willing to meet our fleshly desires, if we believe in Him.
If you’ve chosen to not obey God for a while, take this exercise: Look for the axe head, you’ve dropped in your proverbial Jordan River, find it, get it back out of the river, and start again. Then your life will be full of blessings you weren’t enjoying in the darkness, because you disobeyed the last instruction that was hard.
