News you can use! A familiar idiom that many of us have heard. There are so many newsworthy moments these days. But none surpasses the newsworthy event on that Easter Sunday Morning.
News you can use! A familiar idiom that many of us have heard. There are so many newsworthy moments these days. But none surpasses the newsworthy event on that Easter Sunday Morning.
The purpose of the message today is to remind us that this same Easter Sunday Morning message is as newsworthy today, as it was on that day because our eternal life depends on it. I want to encourage the saints to continue to tell the story. Continue to share the message. Continue to be heralds of the good news. Continue to announce be trumpets of the good news!

... women counted for little in both Jewish and Graeco-Roman circles in those days. They were nobodies: they were goods and chattels; they could in some circumstances be offered for sale; they could not bear witness in a court of law. And God perpetrates the supreme irony of having two women as the first witnesses of his Son’s resurrection!”

“5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.””
