The Disciples Walk as Defeated Soldiers Not Believing the Hope that has Arrived

Often times we walk as if we were defeated soldiers in a battle field with our heads held down. As if we lack all hope in this world. Just as these disciples that walked with Christ were without hope seeing the messiah die.

Is this the attitude we should have as does who have known the HOPE OF THE WORLD!

Jesus Points Out The Truth of The Prophecies is The Hope That Has Come

Jesus rebuked the disciples telling them that all that had occured was necessary to occur in order for the prophecies to come to pass. One such prophecy is found in Isaiah

Isaiah 53:4–6 NIV

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Then They Finally Realized the Hope has ARRIVED!
