Angelic Instructions for Witnesses to the Resurrection

Angels gave the women three specific instructions when they reached the tomb and found it empty:

Do not be alarmed

Alarm would have been appropriate if the event at hand had been unexpected.

This is an expected experience

Both the death and resurrection of Jesus were planned by God

See where He lay

Examine the evidence

Go, tell

The call is for an exacting example
