Jesus for the Gentiles

Jesus was sent by God (1-5)

Chosen from the womb

He is what Israel was supposed to be

He was like a polished arrow ready to complete His Fathers work

Even though the world did not receive him the Father was pleased with him

Jesus was sent to all (6-7)

God had a great plan for all the people of the world, because just Israel was to small a task for Jesus

His task was accomplished through great humiliation and agony that brought the greatest result

Jesus was sent to bring salvation (8-12)

Christ brought the day of salvation

Through Christ, God made the final covenant with man

He sets the captive free and brings mercy to those who need it

He opened the door for all to come

Verse 13- All of creation will experience the work of Christ and rejoice
