Jesus

John 3:16 NIV
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
It was God who loved us first.
Romans 5:8 NIV
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Christ was a man of sorrows and whose life came to die for the ransom of many.
He surrendered his entire self for the sake of humanity.
Hebrews 12:2 NIV
2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
He is the perfecter of our faith and he who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it.

Remembrance

That’s why we can remain confident because Christ is finished the work of God at the cross.
Let us remember what he has done and not forget.
It is for him why we do what we do and it is because of him that we live for him alone.
Our desire is to live for him alone and give him the glory in lives.
The devil wants us to forget about what he has done because there’s power in remembering what God has done for us.
Let us humble ourselves and thank God and Jesus for that he has done in our lives.
