Shalom /Peace
this word is much more than absent of war/ hostilities
Now may the Lord of peace himself grant you peace through everything in every way. May the Lord be with all of you.
shalom means completeness
being whole
“ ‘If a man grazes his livestock in a field or a vineyard and he releases his livestock and it grazes in the field of another, he will make restitution from the best of his field and the best of his vineyard.
Make restitution to being whole again- Shalom -Whole
healthy
Security
When you say Shalom to some one you are speaking a blessing to them
A peace only God can give
Shalom is trusting in God to do what He has promised
observing the Sabbath our Sunday
you are trusting in God to help us do in 6 days what could be done in 7
shalom is a blessing
“Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘You will bless the Israelites: You will say to them: Yahweh will bless you and keep you; Yahweh will make shine his face on you and be gracious to you; Yahweh will lift up his face upon you, and he will give you peace.’
Jesus left His peace /Shalom with us. so that we can have inner peace when there is chaos all around us.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be at ease. May peace be within your walls, security within your palaces.”
our peace is within, our wholeness comes from God
For a child has been born for us; a son has been given to us. And the dominion will be on his shoulder, and his name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Jesus is our Prince of inner Shalom
though Jesus we have shalom with the Father
The angels sang
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”
the perfect gift of peace, not an end to conflict, hostility, wars, covid, new world order, rise of the antichrist kingdom, sickness,
but inner peace though it all
Blessed are the peacemakers, because they will be called sons of God.

John 14 27 turn to
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you—not as the world gives, I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
The peace of Jesus He is giving
the peace that was exhibited to them by Jesus
And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
don't be troubled
The Holy Spirit is promised
You can talk with me at any time, I’m listening
This gift of peace only comes through Christ on the cross
the propitiation the sin offering making us right with the Father
Appeasing the wrath of the Father
and he is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Nations roar, kingdoms shake; he utters his voice, the earth melts. Yahweh of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high stronghold. Selah
Without knowing God’s word we don’t know God is in charge
of every situation
of every decision of the leaders of nations
of every disaster
Jesus is telling his disciples of what is going to happen before it happens because
Shows that He knows the future
He is in the future
The peace/ Shalom He gives is real
and Satan cant change things
I will no longer speak much with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has no power over me.
Satan is going to think he won when Jesus dies
but because Jesus was sinless satan could not keep Him in the grave
he had no power over Jesus
the only power satan had is the power allowed by Jesus
to only go so far

When he had disarmed the rulers and the authorities, he made a display of them in public, triumphing over them by it.
and we that are in Christ are the same way, but we need to be careful
we can lose our shalom though the lies of this world
Beware lest anyone take you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world and not according to Christ,

satan wants to destroy your Shalom with lies
You are what Jesus says you are
because in him all the fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you are filled in him, who is the head over every ruler and authority,
having been buried with him in baptism, in which also you were raised together with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. And although you were dead in the trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, having destroyed the certificate of indebtedness in ordinances against us, which was hostile to us, and removed it out of the way by nailing it to the cross.
all of our sin has been forgiven. past present future
don’t let satan hound you with past sins
they are forgiven, God has chosen to forget them
Jesus gives us peace/shalom chose to live in that peace

like Jesus the only power satan has over you in the power you allow
Jesus gives a peace over worry, life’s circumstances, wars, catastrophes
