“Come then, and with such loving teachableness let us take our seat beside this sea of truth, and strive with reverence to touch the spray that sparkles on the shore.” —Henry Law
11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God,
Hebrew- “power to God” Lamed of possession= Power belongs to God! Power is owned or possessed by God alone!
“The power of God is that ability and strength whereby He can bring to pass whatsoever He pleases, whatsoever His infinite wisdom may direct, and whatsoever the infinite purity of His will may resolve…”
“God’s power is like Himself: infinite, eternal, incomprehensible; it can neither be checked, restrained, nor frustrated by the creature...”
“As His essence is immense, not to be confined in one place; as it is eternal, not to be measured in time; so it is almighty, not to be limited in regard to action.” —Stephen Charnock

7 “Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
God’s Power is Sovereign
God’s Power is Sovereign
“God is infinite in power, and therefore it is impossible for any to withstand His will, or resist the outworking of His decrees! Such a statement as that is well calculated to fill the lost sinner with alarm—but from the believer, it evokes nothing but praise.”—A.W.Pink
22 Behold, God is exalted in his power; who is a teacher like him? 23 Who has prescribed for him his way, or who can say, ‘You have done wrong’?
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. 6 Whatever the Lord pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.
10 declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’
