Called to Prayer

1. Jeremiah 29:12-13 Called to Cry Out

12 Then when you call me, and you come and pray to me, then I will listen to you. 13 When you search for me, then you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart.

Prayer is an act of worship which covers all the attitudes of the soul when approaching God.

God knows when we are fake and when we are real. He knows what we already need.

Prayer moves the hand of Him who already moves the world.

He longs to be in your life fully.

Prayer is based on Gods love for believers. Through his grace, he gives them things which they do not deserve, while through His mercy he shields us from those things which we do deserve.

2. Prayer reflects a longing after God.

Praying to God is an expression of faith. A faith that believes that God is powerful, willing, and gracious to hear and respond to our prayers.

The Lexham English Bible Chapter 11

6 Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and is a rewarder of those who seek him

Prayer is a by product of faith.

People that don’t prayer, don’t always have faith or believe their is a God. Or they just Don’t Trust.

Effective prayer depends on faith and the willingness to Trust God’s faithfulness.

8 Cause me to hear your loyal love in the morning, for I trust you. Cause me to know the way that I should go, for I lift up my soul to you. - Psalm 143:8

Acknowledging the Character and Purposes God has for your life.

Opportunity to seek guidance and get direction.

2 My help comes from the LORD,

the Maker of heaven and earth

God promises to respond to the prayers of His people in times of need. God is faithful to those who pray according to His Will.

14 Because he loves me, therefore I will deliver him; I will protect him because he knows my name. 15 He will call upon me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation. Psalm 91:14-16
