What is our hope in now?
Last Week’s Challenge:
What do I need to let die and release in my life?
What will I add or keep doing because I love Jesus?
In this waiting place, what are you grateful for?
After Christ rose from the dead everything changed.
Fear of death was being taken away. Rom 8:2
What they wanted to have happen did not even matter any more.
They no longer needed to do works that prove they are good enough.
Their motivation for why they do good works changed to being in love.
Their being a victim that need rescued was gone.
They had new goals.
Share the good news of what this means.
Let Jesus love for them keep sinking in.
Become more like Christ.
Be and help other be disciples of Christ.
Heal the sick. Heal the broken hearted.
Bring heavens culture to the world.
Find where your hope lies.
Where does Christ's hope reside?
Knowing the timing of God.
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Present the Gospel
Mankind sinned and Jesus came to fix our mess.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit were community.
They wanted more to love.
God created and example of what was possible all around the world.
God created man and woman and said they were good.
God made a way for them to choose something that will lead them away from him so that there choice for Him would be real.
Closing:
What they had hoped in did not happen and will never happen.
What did happen made it so what did not happen did not matter anymore.
What did happen changed what and who their hope was in.
What did happen shifted where their hope lies.
What did happen made them realize where Jesus hope lies.
Communion
They took the passover meal from a different perspective to.
It used to be to celebrate how God saved them from death like victims.
Now death is already defeated so they put that piece of bread and wine in them to remember Jesus love for them and to become like him through the power of Holy Spirit.

What is your hope in that needs to shift?
What does Jesus hope for you?
Read through Romans 8 and see what God reveals to you.
1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
