Spring is the season of new beginnings. Fresh buds bloom, animals awaken and the earth seems to come to life again. Farmers and gardeners plant their seeds and temperatures slowly rise.

First seed fell on the path and the birds ate them

Second was rocky ground not much soil quickly sprang up but sun scorched and then withered no root

Third was thorns which chocked out the plant

Final soil was good and the plants grew and some produced 100, 60, 30 times what was planted.
