John 14:18–26 CSB
“I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live too. On that day you will know that I am in my Father, you are in me, and I am in you. The one who has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. And the one who loves me will be loved by my Father. I also will love him and will reveal myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it you’re going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus answered, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. The one who doesn’t love me will not keep my words. The word that you hear is not mine but is from the Father who sent me. “I have spoken these things to you while I remain with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.

Introduction

Life has its difficulty.
It is difficult for the world and the Christian.
The Christian has Help to Live
Don’t let the discovery of your personal weakness cause you to doubt the possibility to live properly unto God.
Remember “with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26)
Never limit the Holy Spirit
Never confine the Holy Spirit by your difficulties.
No situation that you bring to Him with true faith in Jesus will ever be dismissed as incurable.
The Lord is with You.

Cause of Trouble

The hardness of peoples heart
You cant change peoples heart
Our shaky arms can not roll away the stone of natural sin
Micah 2:7 CSB
House of Jacob, should it be asked, “Is the Spirit of the Lord impatient? Are these the things he does?” Don’t my words bring good to the one who walks uprightly?
Have you tried to do overcome something and failed?
The alcoholic has tried to overcome alcohol and has failed.
But is the Spirit not capable?
You tried to overcome sexual sin but failed?
Is the Holy Spirit not capable?
We might be baffled but the Spirit is not.
I have felt incapable, without power, scatterbrained, without thought or feeling.
But The Spirit Helped Me!
You want to speak to someone about Christ!
He can prepare your heart and tongue.
2 Cor 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for the.” “When we are weak he is strong”
The Holy Spirit is Powerful
Often times when we have failures we place blame in the wrong places.
Ask have you preached the gospel?
Do you have faith?
Have you prayed?
Have you looked to yourself for the reasons for your failure?
Is it secret sin?
Lack of faith?
“He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief” (Matt 13:58)
Your unbelief can turn a fruitful land barren.
The Spirit can not be bound but our sin can cause the spirit to hide from us.
Many of us might do great things for the Lord if we put our hearts into it.

Conclusion

Let’s not blame the Spirit of God.
Be Humble and review your own personal life.
Return to the Lord
Inquire of the Lord (You have not, because you ask not.) (James 4:2-3)
The Spirit is not limited!
The evidence of His strength is before us!
