Paul's Trial Before Festus

Today is the 7th Day of April, and yesterday we talked about the trial of Paul before Governor Felix— He was detained for 2 years until Felix was replaced by Festus without handing down judgment on the accusations of the Jewish leaders against Paul

From this we learned that Paul was on trial because his proclamation of the resurrection of the dead— obviously, the Pharisees and Sadducees are not happy about it because of a number of reasons, and one that’s obvious is that they are insecure— their power was threatened by the the resurrection of Jesus

We too are wrongly accused because of our faith in the resurrection of the dead

They are willing and will resort to lying to accuse us falsely

But Paul was also willing to die to stand behind the truth
