You're In Good Company

While we are preparing to take on our second year of ministry with drive and passion we must make sure that we do not forsake the power of partnership. It is our inner circle that helps define who we become when you consider the fact that most of your conversations and experiences are influenced by those who you talk with the most that's why you must make sure you have people who have more to talk about than the latest church gossip or the latest episode of fake reality shows because there is a whole lot going on in the world and life that effects you and you'll wake up one day realizing you wasted precious time talking about temporary things that have no eternal return. (Who's around you?). This is important because when it comes to going after your assignment you have to be surrounded by individuals who speak towards where you are going and not always speaking from where you used to be because if you are going to move forward you must leave some past relationships, past encounters, past mindsets, past obstacles, past hinderances where they are and that is in the past, for whom the son sets free is free indeed therefore anything related to bondage has no more power in my future TELL SOMEBODY IM FREE FROM THAT. There were some things that popped its head back up about two weeks ago that you just knew you danced over and now you see it again, it's not that your aren't free from it its just the fact that you won't know you're free from it until you're able to see it again and not be bothered by it, you can see it again and not be shaken by it, TELL 2 PEOPLE IM NOT MOVED, but if you're surrounded by people who see where you're going and they want to do there part in getting you there then you are in good company for a wise man shall surround himself with wise people, and in wise council things are established. So this year you have let people know if you're not talking future, we cant talk, if you're not talking faith, we cant talk, if your not talking building, we cant talk, its nothing personal I'm just pass that I wanna talk about things that will make me better, I want to talk about saving, i want to talk about investing, i wanna talk about God, i wanna talk about miracles, i wanna talk about change in our city, because you can talk to God about everything but at some point you need another person to interact with TELL SOMEBODY YOU NEED SOMEBODY.

You were only put on this earth during this time in this present age to serve the plan of God for this particular time in history. As I have told you before Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a time for everything but there is a season for every purpose, in other words every seed has a set time at which it has to come forth, it doesn't matter how many times your parents tried or didn't try to conceive you there was a set time for you to be here so before you contemplate taking your life i need you to understand that you do belong here and you cant die until you have done your part in the ultimate plan of God for this present age, he tells Jeremiah I formed you in your mother's womb i gave you an assignment and then calculated when your assignment was needed and then i sent you into the world to operate in your set time SOMEBODY SHOUT SET TIME. Thats why no one can stop you but you because they aren't the reason you are here so they can’t determine what you do while you're here, so stop letting everybody but God control your life just be convinced that if he has me here now it must be for something good thats why the molestation and the rape and the heartbreak and the let down didn't destroy you but the setback was really a set up because all things still work together for the good of them that love God AND ARE CALLED thats why even when Jeremiah got depressed and wanted to quit he couldn't because he said the word of God, his purpose, his assignment was like fire shut up in his bones so even if i wanted to quit TELL SOMEBODY THE FIRE WONT LET ME i wasn't put here to be normal but i was put here to serve a plan thats bigger than me CAN YOU PASS THE WORD DOWN YOUR ROW TELL THEM THE FIRE WONT LET ME QUIT!

But many times our perception of life is determined by the company we keep, if all you hang around is broke people who's talking about wealth, if all you hang around is sick people who's talking health, if all you hang around is sinners than who's talking holiness its like lepers who sat and set and conversed among themselves saying lets eat and drink and be merry for tomorrow we will die, in this year I'm leaving the mourners party and going over to celebrate with those who are speaking life, all Mary had to do was say hello to Elizabeth and all of a sudden that which was not moving on the inside of her began to move, TELL YOUR Neighbor TALK FAITH TO ME, TALK VICTORY TO ME, KEEP Talking UNTIL MY BABY LEAPS, TELL THEM THEM KEEP TALKING!!!

This is how our text starts with Saul a young man serving his father’s donkeys and they come out to the field one day and notice they’re gone. Theres no worse feeling than feeling like you dropped the ball because we all mean well and want to do well and anytime there is a flaw we tend to shut down but its not failure until you don’t learn from the mistake and grow. Thats why it is important to be accountable to a leader who sees your potential past your flaws because if not they will write you off at that very moment but an anointed leader sees where im going and allows me to stay the course even after a minor detour, you should thank God that your last mistake was not the end but it was a lesson you learned on your journey, tell somebody he’s the God of another chance.

So Saul and his servant are headed to look for the donkeys and to no success, and Saul says lets go home before my father starts to worry about us and the donkeys, but the Servant tells him of a prophet in the city and they journey to go find this prophet and by the time they get to Samuel the Prophet, God has already briefed him on his assignment. Some of you are one obedient act away from meeting up with your destiny. Your trying to figure out who to connect with, how to network, the right DM conversation, but if you will continue to be obedient to what God says you’ll find yourself walking into rooms and having one conversation and that one conversation will open up a whole new season of blessings and contracts you can’t refuse. But you must be willing to serve and be obedient! Someone say serve and be obedient, for if you be willing and obedient you shall eat the fruit of the land.

So Samuel tells Saul come and eat with me in the high place and tomorrow I will tell you whats going on on the inside of you, and as for the donkeys you’re looking for, don’t worry about them for they have been found. Some of us need to learn how to slow down and follow instructions, for in the instructions and the obedience to the instructions come the answers you seek and more than what you expected. here he is just looking for donkeys and what he doesn’t know is God had to cause him to lose the donkeys in order to come in contact with a man of God who would reveal to him his destiny. Tell somebody you had to lose that to gain this!! You had to lose little to gain much! And your so busy trying to dwell on what you lost and God is saying don’t worry about that I’ve gotta something else in mind for you.

So Samuel tells Saul the that the whole desire or destiny of Israel is upon him and immediately he brings up his inadequacies. Why would it be me? I'm from the smallest family of the smallest tribe. But its not your family that decides your destiny, its your providential selection that determines who you will be. God knows your issues, flaws and all but he decided before you ever messed up to anoint you and give you a purpose. Get over yourself and get into God and see what he will do through you.

So before he sends him back home he gives him instructions he says you're going to pass three men and they are going to have three lambs, three loaves of bread and a bottle of wine, he tells him take two loaves and keep going, then he says you're going to meet a company of prophets, they don't have food, they don't have wine, but they have tambourines and a harp, and they aren't just singing but they are prophesying, God is connecting you with individuals who have what you need for your future, I'm not talking about your next meal, I'm talking about your next assignment, he says and when you get amongst them the spirit of the lord is going to come upon you and you will do what you've never done before, you're going to prophesy, tell your neighbor IM GETTING READY TO PROPHESY!

HES BRINGING YOU INTO CONNECTION WITH SOMEONE WHOS GOING TO CHALLENGE YOU

YOUVE BEEN DOING GOOD BY YOURSELF

YOUVE BEEN MAKING IT ON YOUR OWN

BUT THERE IS ANOTHER PLACE HE WANTS TO TAKE YOU

WHERE YOU NEED THE HELP OF PROPHETS TO GET THERE AND STAY THERE

THEIR COMING WITH A SONG

THIRE COMING WITH A PRAISE

THEIR COMING WITH A WORD

THEIR COMING WITH A PROPHESY

AND THEIR COMING WITH THE KEY TO UNLOCK WHO YOU REALLY ARE
