The Power of Unity
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For abrethren to dwell †together in unity!
2 It is like bthe precious ointment cupon the head,
That ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard:
That went down to the dskirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of eHermon, and as the dew that descended upon the fmountains of gZion:
For there the LORD hcommanded the blessing,
Even life for evermore.
When Jesus had lthus said, he mwas troubled in spirit, and ntestified, and said, oVerily, verily, I say unto you, that pone of you shall betray me
37 pPeter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. 38 Jesus answered him, qWilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, rThe cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me sthrice.
5 fThomas saith unto him, Lord, gwe know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am hthe way, ithe truth, and kthe life: no man cometh unto the Father, lbut by me. 7 mIf ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from nhenceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 oPhilip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? phe that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
I will not leave you ||comfortless: hI will come to you
