The Power of Purpose

During the time of Vision Casting during the time of Offering
I believe that God s about to put us on the map in Tyler TX. We want to be filled with God’s Spirit, we want to see Christians living out the Spirit Filled Life. We want to see families restored, lives made whole, and disciples churning out like crazy.
Gallop Polls- Less than 47% of Americans are now going to church. That is the lowest number ever. And its not like things are getting better. In fact its just getting worse, and it will continue to spiral out of control...
THE CHURCH- not the building, but believers who have the Spirit of Truth living inside of them

I believe that God is about to bring rain, and we are making preparations about to get ready for rain. One of the preparations we are making is in the area of discipleship. We have about 20 young adults that are going to be ready for intensive ministry in the next few months. We are working on getting them healed up from life. We are forming a small little tactical team that will be used for various ministries coming up… but as I said we are preparing for rain.....
2. We were shooting to start construction this week but couldn’t get everyone work schedules lined up. April is a busy month for our construction guys so we will begin the week after next
And the plans have changed had a dream this week about how this place is supposed to function. I’m not one to be given to dreams, but I had one about the building layout his week. As I told you last week, we are about
Matthew 7:24–27 ESV
24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
John 10:10 ESV
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
2 Corinthians 5:17–20 ESV
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
John 1:11–13 ESV
11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
Matthew 10:39 ESV
39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

AN UNRESOLVED PAST

2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Philippians 3:12–14 ESV
12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

AN UNCLEAR PURPOSE

Matthew 5:13–14 ESV
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
2 Corinthians 5:18–19 ESV
18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
