What Am I Expecting God To Do?: I am expecting God to heal people in their bodies, souls and spirit. To sustain this body while we wait for the redemption of this body.

I. We Will Receive New Bodies

Explanation.: Jesus’ body is the template that we can “look at” to get an idea of what our new bodies will be like in heaven.

TS: . The next point is not a new revelation. You might even say sartically, “I wonder how long it took Pastor to come up with that point?” And the point is this…some aspects of our new bodies....

II. Will Be The Same

Exp: There are aspects of our bodies that we have now that will be the same when we arrive in eternity. What are some of those things?

Again, using Jesus’ resurrected body as described in the Bible as the template for what our bodies will be like, I see some things that will be the same:

Ill.: How many of you have an iPhone? Okay a few of you. The current Apple iPhone is the iPhone 12 and I would guess that some time this year we will have an iPhone 13 or at least an iPhone 12s. There have been 31 different models of iPhone and more if you count the amount of memory available for each model.

There as been iPhone, 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4, 4s, 5, 5C, 5S, 6,6plus, 6S,6S Plus SE,7, 7Plus, 8, 8Plus, iPhone X, XS, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11Pro Max, iPhone SE (2nd Gen), 12, 12 Pro, 12 Mini, 12 Pro Max

How much different is the iPhone 12 from the original iPhone that was first introduced by Steve Jobs? Of course, there are some differences but for the most part they are much the same.

III. They Will Be Different!

Ill.: Back to the iPhone. In June, if Apple holds true to their patterns from privous years, they will be announcing a new iOS. There will some changes that are major but most will be minor. But if we compare the iPhone of 2007 to the 2021 iPhone there are some major changes. Some of the changes customers have like but others they have hated but gotten used too.

What are some of the changes?

There was no Siri

There was no Airdrop…because there was no iPad…it would not come out for another 3 years

no front facing camera

No large screen

No file transfer option

No Multi-Tasking

No Airplay

No Apple Maps

No FaceTime

No Digital Zoom

No image stabilization

No Face ID

No AirPrint
