Lights = angelic hosts at announcement

Caroling = angelic host, Magi, and shepherds praising God with voice

Star on tree = star that lead the Magi

Gifts = gifts brought to Jesus by Magi and/or salvation through Jesus’ life

Tree = cross

Mistletoe = love of Christ

Ornaments = lives brought and displayed upon the branches of Jesus

Current tradition = distractions from the true meaning of Christmas … Jesus Christ
