The full title of this Book.

The title that has come down to us through long tradition, though not title is found within the text of the book is “the Act the Apostles.”
This is an accurate title for the book, because the primary people in the story are the apostles.
Especially Peter and Paul.
The story focuses on the early history of the church.
During this time there was mounting tension.
Can the Christian movement stay unified?
Just like then, we are still asking the same question.
With everything that is going on in the world today:
Homosexuality everywhere you look, even in the schools.
There is no longer any shame in going against God’s word.
Our children even thinks it’s fashionable for men to lay with men, and women to lay with women.
We have more medication now than we have ever had in the history of mankind.
But we also have more disease than man has ever known.
People are dying at an unbelievable rate.
Also people are dying at an young age more than ever before.
Just think about how many funerals for young people you have been to in the last few years.
So this makes me go back to the question they asked then, and i’m asking now.
Can the Christian Movement stay unified through all of this and more?
How will it handle ethnic differences?
What does it mean for a Gentile to convert to what the book calls “The Way?”
Will opposition from non-Christians defeat the church?
Read Acts 1:1 - Luke connects Acts with his Gospel and claims that it is a comprehensive account of Jesus’s life and ministry from start to finish.
