WHO BELONGS?

Read Romans 16:1-16 - People were important to Paul. They were the church.
The people of Meadowbrook - If Paul was writing today he might say this:
I appreciate the handymen who make repairs
I appreciate those who prepare communion
I enjoy reading the newsletter and thank those who prepare it and post it
Your sunday School teachers are prepared and enthusiastic
The greeters welcome visitors and friends alike with joy and a smile
I appreciate your sound and lighting technicians
I commend those who run the slides
I worship service is planned to edify Christ and build each other up
The praise team sings with joy and practices diligently
Appreciate those who play instruments and share their passion and gift
I commend the cookie ladies and their ministry
I am thankful for those who make the cookies for fellowship and bred for visitors
You are know for those who sew and crochet with gusto - many have benefitted
Your junior church workers enjoy teaching the youth
Both men and women are being taught in bible and prayer
I commend those who hekp with the toddlers and nursery
I appreciate the smell of cooked pig each year in September
The Churches in Revelation were corporate bodies made up of individuals
The letters to these churches served to admonish and encourage
Admonish - The people were to repent and change their ways, coming back to Christ
Encourage - The overcomer was to stay the course and stay faithful
Colossians 2:13-15 - Nail to the cross our struggles
Colossians 3:1-4 - Nail to the cross our strengths
Prayer to begin the process. Jerri will sing as people come forward to nail their cards.
