2021.04.18 Love Does - Love Takes Action

Bottom line: Love never ignores a need in someone’s life; love takes notice and takes action—that’s what love does.

Love takes action; religious practice, devoid of love, can cause spiritual blindness. John 5:5; Matthew 23; James 1:27

Love takes notice of those who cannot care for themselves; love is never stuck up or passive. John 5:6

Love redirects and revives expectation, even after many years of disappointment and dejection. John 5:6

Love takes the time to get below the surface of the situation; it doesn’t judge the book by its cover. John 5:6

Love overlooks excuses and calls the person in need of a life-change to action. John 5:7

Love believes that all things are possible with God; it sees the possibility for change in others often before they can see it for themselves. John 5:8

When an act of love and faith collide it is a recipe for a miracle. John 5:9

Bottom line: Love responds to needs in other’s lives; it sees a need and meets the need—that’s what love does.
