Facing Change Part 1

I received an email from a student’s parent my first year of teaching that said the only constant in life is change.
She’s right and now that the world is facing a pandemic going on a year, we all know what it feels like to have permanent change in our lives. Honestly, our world will never go back to what it was like before the pandemic. And, we have to process that fact.
In this series, we will look at change and the importance of how we respond to it. We will learn discuss how we can wisely respond to it and consider ways, based on our individual personalities, can face the change that happens in our lives.
Our guiding theme is that we face change with faith, courage, and community.
What change are we talking about?
big/small
temporary/permanent
Fast/slow
daily/weekly/yearly
We do some of these changes look like in life:

What happens when we face change?
You will decide, based on how you perceive the change, to accept, reject, or leave it be
what does accept the change mean? It does not mean to agree with it, but to acknowledge that the change has happened
