Intro. - Read the scripture. This is not only what we will become, but what we are today. We are the Church. Notice the word “prepared” in verse 2. God is preparing us to be the Church. How is He doing this?

God Illuminates The Church From Within v11

“Shone” in the Greek means to illuminate

Psalm 46:4-5

We are the light of the world (Matthew 5). The light is to be seen.

God Unites Everyone In The Church vs12-14

All are welcome in the city - Luke 13:29

Notice the foundation is the teaching of the apostles

Gates and walls could stand for the strength of the Church

The Church is a bride, beautifully clothed
