Name Change: common practice

DANIEL = “MY JUDGE IS ELOHIM.”

BELTESHAZZAR = “BEL IS MY JUDGE.” (Baal god)

HANANIAH = UNDER YAHWEH’S GRACE.

SHADRACH = UNDER AKU’S (Moon god) COMMAND.

MISHAEL = WHO IS WHAT GOD IS?

MESHACH = WHO IS WHAT AKU IS?

AZARIAH = SERVANT OF YAHWEH.

ABEDNEGO = SERVANT OF NEGO. (Nebo god which means “being corrupted”)

DON’T CRITICIZE THE CULTURE
