Seed—plant it good soil, right sunlight, right water, right time

Physical body—good nutrition, rest

Spiritual growth will not just happen—it habitual effort.

Grow in two areas: grace and knowledge

Read, Study, and Meditate on God’s Word (2 Tim 2:15)

Go About Doing Good for Others (Acts 10:38)

Visit the sick and bereaved (Jam 1:27)

Give of His means to support the work (1 Cor 16:1-2)

Pray regularly (1 Thess 5:17)

Be faithful in attending services (Heb 10:25)

Partake of the Lord’s Supper every Sunday (Acts 20:7)

Be active in the work o the local congregation (Ti 3:1)

Endeavor to bring others to Christ (Mt 28:19-20)

Exhortation

You could do most of these things and not grow (1 Cor 13:1-3)

Christian growth is not about a checklist but a check on the heart (2 Cor 13:5)
