Acts 1:8 NKJV
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Matthew 28:18–20 NKJV
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

1. we are called to make disciples, not merely “Christian.”

what the Church means when we say “Christian” is disciples.
“Christian” can just mean a cultural ascent to the morals and values associated with the way.
Acts 11:26 NKJV
26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
it seams that the world called us “Christians.”
it seams that when we started being Christians we stopped being disciples.
the root of the word disciple is discipline.

we have to get back to our relationship with Jesus the Christ. my life should reflect that in an everyday life.
it is not for me to tell you what you need to be working on in your life of discipleship.
The Holy Spirit will do the work in me.
there maybe some things that people wish God would work on in me. there may be good reasons for that desire, however, The Holy Spirit knows the things that He wants to work on in me, He (The Holy Spirit) knows what order they need to be worked on and why.
however we need to get back to seeking God’s Glory and will in being a disciple.

2. Planting Churches is a goal for this ministry for a few reasons.

it is a natural out-flow of the Christian Life.
It’s a way to full-fill the great commission.
it will keep us from thinking bigger is better (it’s not about mega churches, it’s about mega Jesus.)
it keeps us thinking outside are selves.

3. Having a vision greater than the local congregation gives us a commitment to excellence to the task in which we where given.

Colossians 3:23–24 NKJV
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
when we do something in the ministry we should do it as the Lord was going to give us a reward.
This is true the Lord will reward us!
Matthew 25:23 NKJV
23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
not only that our gifts make a way for us.
Proverbs 18:16 NKJV
16 A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men.
a half hearted gift, not developed will not bring you before mighty men.
we are stewards of our gifts.
we determine how good are gifts are until we develop them.
