Shouldn’t try to do what you are not called to do.

This means that we should do what God has called us to do. It also means that we shouldn’t try to do what God has not called us to do. Obviously God didn’t want people who didn’t know how to sew making curtains for his tabernacle. The way they contributed to this project was not by doing but by giving. Each of us needs to be content to do what God has called us to do and to let others do what God has called them to do. The service we offer depends on the gifts we have been given, as confirmed by the church.

Today we are building not the tabernacle but the church of God

and it is build of people.

How do we build the church?

evangelism, teaching, healing..etc.

What are you doing with what God has given you?

10 Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let it be as one who speaks God’s words; if anyone serves, let it be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything.
