GOD WANTS TO USE HIS WORD TO BUILD YOUR LIFE

WORD OF KNOWLEDGE

This again points to the Word of God (LOGOS) to reveal truths about HIMSELF

JESUS HIGHLIGHTED TWO MAIN PURPOSES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

TO LEAD US INTO ALL TRUTH

TO REMIND US OF WHAT HE HAD SAID

these two gifts show us these two facets of the Holy Spirit’s ministry

FAITH

This is the confidence in and reassurance of God’s abilty

LIFE WILL OFTEN PUT YOU IN POSITIONS WHERE YOU WONDER IF GOD CAN....

THE HOLY SPIRIT REMINDS US THAT NO MATTER WHAT WE ARE FACING…GOD IS ABLE TO MEET OUR NEEDS.

GIFT OF HEALING

1 Corinthians 12:9 NLT

The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing.

THIS IS A SELF EXPLANATORY GIFT: THE WORD MEANS MEDICINE…IT’S A CURE

What’s significant about the gift of healing is that it is a reminder that our God is not constrained by the reality of our current circumstances.

THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IS ONE THAT IS CHARACTERIZED BY HOPE

THIS HOPE GOES BEYOND THAT OF BEING FORGIVEN FOR THE BAD THINGS THAT WE HAVE DONE.

THATS IMPORTANT BUT IT’S NOT ALL

WHEN PHYSICAL SICKNESS HITS…YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR GOD RELEASES THE GIFT OF HEALING.

HE WANTS TO MANIFEST HIS SPIRIT…THROUGH YOUR PRAYERS FOR HEALING.

TESTIMONIES OF HEALING

(I”M SUPPOSED TO HAVE SEIZURES)

(KAYLA IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A BLOOD DISORDER)

(WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE UNABLE TO HAVE KIDS.)

(I WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE)

It may not mean much to you now…but there will be a day when your hope is running out....IN THOSE MOMENTS REMEMBER THAT YOUR GOD MANIFESTS HIS HOLY SPIRIT THROUGH THE GIFT OF HEALING.

INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO HAVE A UNIQUE ABILITY TO OPERATE IN THIS SPIRITUAL GIFT.

Healing evangelists back in the day (Oral Roberts, Katherine Coleman)....I believe that God will use young people who are willing to yield to the gift of faith to manifest the gift of healing.

THIS ISN’T JUST ABOUT PHYSICAL NEEDS

Some of your friends don’t need advice from you....they need you to pray for them and manifest the HOLY SPIRIT THROUGH THE GIFT OF HEALING.

MIRACULOUS POWERS

“These are acts of supernatural power that change the normal course of nature. They include acts of God in which the power of his kingdom is revealed as it overcomes Satan and evil spirits (JOHN 6:2)”

THIS GIFT MANIFESTS IN THE WAY OF WEATHER PATTERNS....TORNADOES HAVE PASSED RIGHT OVER GROUPS OF PEOPLE PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT AGAINS THE STORM

HURRICANES HAVE CHANGED COURSE

WILDFIRES HAVE STOPPED.

JESUS EXERCISED THIS GIFT WHEN HE CALMED THE WINDS AND THE WAVES

THE MIRACLES THAT GOD WANTS TO MANIFEST IN OUR GENERATION GO BEYOND THAT OF PHYSICAL HEALING.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t only have power to remove sickness…it has power to break demonic strongholds.

THERE IS A VERY REAL SPIRITUAL WARFARE HAPPENING....SOME OF YOU HAVE BEEN MANIPULATED BY DEMONIC SPIRITS

(Everything that is has some kind of spiritual agenda behind it.)

THE NORMALIZATION OF SEXUAL FLUIDITY IS AN AGENDA DRIVEN BY DEMONIC SPIRITS

When we are filled with the Holy Spirit…we carry within us the potential to take authority over those spirits.

WE SAW A DEMONIC MANIFESTATION ON A SUNDAY A FEW WEEKS AGO.

We don’t have to be scared of the demonic…because we have SOMEONE GREATER ON OUR SIDE.

DEMONS ARE STRONGER THAN YOU....BUT THEY ARE INFINITELY SUBJECTIVE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT.

THE HOLY SPIRIT LONGS TO MANIFEST IN OUR GENERATION BY TAKING AUTHORITY OVER THE DEMONIC INFLUENCES IN OUR CULTURE.

He wants to do that through you.

Part of the way you take authority over it…is by cutting it out of your life.

Taking authority is not always some major moment…sometimes you take authority by cancelling netflix…sometimes you take authority by deleting a playlist....sometimes you take authority by cutting out explicit songs on spotify.

YOU WANT TO SEE A MIRACLE IN YOUR LIFE>>>>MAKE A MIRACLE BY CLEANING UP YOUR ENTERTAINMENT

PROPHECY

“Prophecy is a special gift that gives the Christian the ability to deliver a message or revelation directly from God under thee prompting of the Holy Spirit.”

There is a spiritual office of prophet: THIS IS AN INDIVIDUAL THAT PREACHES FRESH WORDS AND INSIGHTS FROM THE WORD OF GOD REGULARLY.

I’m not certain but I believe that I walk in this office more so than some of the other offices that I see in scripture for church leadership.

THe gift of prophecy is not reserved for those who walk in the office of the prophet though.

Any believer who has received JEsus and been baptized in the Spirit can operate in the gift of prophecy.

This gift will manifest through the Holy Spirit giving you a particular WORD FOR A MOMENT.

Maybe you have something to add to the service or the gatheering because of what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you in a moment of worship or prayer.

The gift of prophecy will always manifest in order.

So you would bring what you believe God is speaking to a leader…and they would help walk you through delivery of that word.

It is important to know that the gifts of the Spirit are varied…but they will always operate in a sense of order.

GOD DOES NOT WANT CHAOS AND CONFUSION

WHEN CHAOS AND CONFUSION ARE REIGNING…IT’S IMPORTANT TO PRAY FOR GOD TO GIVE WISDOM AS TO HOW TO RESTORE ORDER>
