For spiritual reasons Want to replace physical feeling with emotional feelings.

14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
1. We need to remember that we determine what we feed ourselves Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally.

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
The word “ circumspectly” means mindful.
Notice verse 15 says “not as fools.”
How can I be foolish?
How can I be foolish?
I can be foolish by not knowing my self. I can not realize the nature of the battle that i struggle with in my sin nature.
we can be foolish about what causes us easily ensnares us.
it can be very difficult to feel different then the rest of the world. (I am talking about holiness). separating from the world to be an expression of God’s grace and mercy.
2. Our holiness (separation from the system of the world) leads us to showing the grace of God.

14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
Lets look at verse 6

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
notice we have been given grace to operate in our spiritual gifts.
Notice the word “our” in the worksheet above comes before spiritual gifts.
this means that you have spiritual gifts.
Part of how the Lord expresses Himself is through our gifts
3. The biggest reason that we need to maintain our holiness is because it effects our ability to be a witness.
3. The biggest reason that we need to maintain our holiness is because it effects our ability to be a witness.
if we are putting stuff in our spirit man that pulls us away from God, then the enemy has neutralized us.
we are saved, the enemy cannot mess with that, he can just torturer us spiritually.
if the church is chasing their tail, then they are not taking ground.
Church is not merely a hospital for the hurting. its a rescue army for the lost.
