This Sunday while our families celebrate God’s gift of mothers and their selfless love to us, we’ll take an even closer look at God’s rich love shown chiefly through what Peter defines as “the salvation of our souls.” We last looked in 1 Peter 1:1-5 at the high calling of the believing community and their description as “elect exiles.” Join us as we look at this love God has shown to us, our response in return, and the glorious effect that results from the testing of our faith’s authenticity.
