Over the last few weeks, we have focused on the Foundations of our Faith — great pillars that are the core, the essential. These have not been the trivial or even the well meaning denominational differences held between groups of believers. These are the core of what it means to call oneself by the name Christian.
First, we talked about God himself. Everything begins and ends with our Creator, the one who is Holy and just, exists in relationship as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and wishes to extend that relationship to us.
Next, we spoke of Holy Scripture and the reliable, inspired nature of the Book in which we can have confidence for all matters of
