Sealed

The Bible teaches that at the moment of salvation, the believer is baptized in the Spirit, indwelt by the Spirit, and sealed with the Spirit. Seal communicates Ownership. Similarly, the indwelling Holy Spirit is God’s seal on His people. To be sealed with the Holy Spirit is to be identified as God’s.

you were sealed: In the ancient world, a seal indicated ownership and protection to the day of Judgment. Sealed believers will be kept for their ultimate inheritance.
