1 Peter 1:3–8 KJV 1900
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
C.S. Lewis once said,
Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition, when infinite joy is offered to us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in the slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.
Manifestation of issues in my own heart. Bitterness and unforgiveness pride selfishness, neediness.
So in my time of prayer and fast I ask the lord.. How do I fix this. How does this change??
I have found that these thing have ruined many relationship in my life..
My problem with the lord was this. You revealed this to me now what?
I see these things in me. I want to and need to change.
So I was laying in bed Thursday night and the spirit of peace and joy start to unexpectedly rise up in me.
On my bed I was encountering Jesus. Or shall I say Jesus was encountering me.
The sulimite woman had a revelation of how 1 encounter would be life changing when she said.
Song of Solomon 1:2 NASB95
2 “May he kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than wine.
One encounter one kiss can change everything.
Notice our text
an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you
we see that peter is dealing here with salvation.
Notice verse 7
1 Peter 1:7–8 KJV 1900
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
God is now release the spirit of Joy through the manifestion of His glory.
Now why did God let me see those thing about me before he encounter me with Joy.
Look at John 15 starting at verse 1
John 15:1–11 NASB95
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. 3 “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. 6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. 7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. 9 “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. 10 “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
So why did God reveal these thing to me?
Whats next next?
God says I am revealing these things to you. You fault, issues and problems because you are about to have an encounter with me Glory.
Verse 5
John 15:5–8 NASB95
5 “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. 6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. 7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.
Because of the Love of God because he wants you near. And if you abide in nearness. The purpose for fasting. That’s why this is not coincidents.
God says
John 15:2 NKJV
2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:3 NKJV
3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
This is the glory of God. To clean us to conform us and in this context
God will then fill us.. fill our lives with Joy
He say I told you this that your joy might be fulfill.
Its in the place of his presence where his glory is that we are fill with Joy’
Psalm 16:11 NASB95
11 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
This your presence there is fullness of JOY..
1peter says that our inheritance is that we rejoice in joy unspeakable and full of Glory.
Let me just say this Joy is not dependent on happenstance nor circumstance but on the reality of who he is and picture of His glory.

Glory by definition is glo·ry

1.
very great praise, honor, or distinction bestowed bycommon consent; renown: to win glory on the field of battle.
2.
something that is a source of honor, fame, or admiration; adistinguished ornament or an object of pride: a sonnet that isone of the glories of English poetry.
3.
adoring praise or worshipful thanksgiving: Give glory to God.
4.
resplendent beauty or magnificence: the glory of autumn.
5.
a state of great splendor, magnificence, or prosperity.
Can I just say that there are mysteries and hidden aspects of God and when they are revealed they are called glory.
When these hidden aspects about the Lord are revealed. Man has to place some name are tittle to them.
The presence of God was visible the tabernacle we called it Shekinah glory.
When one see insight and fresh revelation from God’s heart someone shout with joy glory. Why? They just saw something.
Something that was hidden. Something that was a mystery was revealed.
Now over 2000 years ago.. a baby was born in a manger the angels moved there choir loft and begin to sing glory.
Because the mystery of heaven was revealed on earth.
Lets look at it
Luke 2:9–14 NKJV
9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
The first response to the glory of God here was fear but the angel said I bring you good new great joy.
The reason fear God glory now and in the Old Testament is because there is nothing on the inside to connect with the mystery of the knowledge with is taken place on the outside.
In the old testament the glory fell.
But the promise is that In the last days the glory of God will rise.
Isaiah 60:1–2 NASB95
1 “Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. 2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.
And His glory will be seen upon you.
Coming out of us. This is a work of the holy spirit.
After jesus teaches them about the work of the spirit in john 16 he goes further in verse 20 saying
John 16:20–24 NASB95
20 “Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy. 21 “Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world. 22 “Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. 23 “In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. 24 “Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
I fasted, then I was confronted with myself. Labor to bring forth some kind of break-though but then I asked him to remove these things and he answered and filled my life with Joy…
And this is His glory..
The kingdom of God is righteousness peace and JOY. In the Holy Ghost.
