The Fall

What does it risk if they fail to hear from me?

We are not driven by reason and logic. We are not truly rational creatures. The serpent came to the first people and preyed on their fears and desires.

Eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil means determining good on our own, without God’s revelation. We moved the center of authority.

What am I proposing

The fall starts in Genesis 3 and concludes in Genesis 11. It shows us what happens when we determine right and wrong for ourselves apart from God. We build Babylon, the unjust city.

Hallow vs Glory

The people twist the truth in response to God just like the Satan did.

God’s Word creates life but they are afraid of it.

They hide in the trees

Deuteronomy 28:48 LEB

then you shall serve your enemies, whom Yahweh will send against you under conditions of famine, in thirst, in nakedness, and in a lack of everything; and he shall place a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you.

Why don’t they buy it?

Jesus isn’t a literal door.....PAUSE.....but he is a real door.

Authority is a dirty word.
