1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, And bow thine ear to my understanding: 2 That thou mayest regard discretion, And that thy lips may keep knowledge.
10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, And knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; 11 Discretion shall preserve thee, Understanding shall keep thee:
11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
“Wisdom and discretion” go hand in hand. c/p-vs. 1 and 2.

Definitions:
Attend-to go with or accompany
Wisdom-The right use of knowledge
Bow-to bend or incline toward,
Understanding-comprehending, apprehending the ideas or sense of another, agreement of minds
Regard- to guard, defend, to attend to with respect, to fix the mind on as a matter of importance.
Discretion-the discernment that enables a person to judge critically of what is correct and proper, united with caution.
Keep-to hold, to preserve, to tend, to observe in practice.
Knowledge-a clear and certain perception of that which exists, or of truth and fact.
