Conclusion
Ensuring that our church maintains effective ministry, where each person has opportunity to grow and thrive in their relationship with Christ is so critically important.
As pastor, putting the right people in the right place that fulfills God’s purpose to make disciples is one of my most important responsibilities. With a sincere heart, and after conferring with our deacon board, I announce that I have made the very difficult decision to conclude Pastor Osvaldo Vera’s ministry in our church. He and his family have always been kind and respectful to me. Sometimes, even with the best intentions and experiences, it doesn’t work—it doesn’t fit. I believe that in the last several weeks, God has confirmed this decision. I love the Vera family and I will work with them as God directs their next steps.
I will begin to search for a new associate pastor in the coming weeks. Please keep the Vera family and me in your prayers.
