1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,
2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man.
3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’
4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,
5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”
6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said.
7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?
Don’t ever quit. If you want something from me don’t quit.
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
We are pulling down strongholds...
Persistant prayer, determined prayer, Prayer that won’t quit.
We are born AGAIN to win. Not born to win....
With the power of God inside us....
All the quitters lose....
Those that hold out win.
Jesus came to the world to destroy the works of the devil. The devil hounded him for 33 years, but JESUS NEVER QUIT!
58 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
But JESUS NEVER QUIT
The first man Adam quit.
The second man Adam let the devil know....
16 “Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms,
I like the way Jesus talked about himself....
18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
If we have that take that kind of faith to the grave...
9 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated.
10 He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder.
David’s men wanted to stone him when their houses were burned and their wives and children were gone. But David didn’t quit....
The Children of the World
8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

Edwin C. Barnes had one dream, he wanted to become Thomas Alva Edison’s partner.
Edwin C. Barnes had one dream, he wanted to become Thomas Alva Edison’s partner.
He decided to meet him. He didn’t have anything to impress Edison, didn’t even have the money to travel to Edison’s place.
However, he reached Edison’s office and told Edison that he wanted to be the great inventor’s business partner. Not surprisingly, Edison refused.
But he was impressed by Barnes’s attitude and gave him a job as a sweeper. Barnes was more than happy to take up that because he knew working with Edison would do wonders for him.
He spent around two years doing the job of a sweeper and observed Edison’s way of working.Edison designed a product called ‘Ediphone’ and wanted to sell.
However, his sales team thought it wouldn’t work out and rejected his idea.
Barnes observing all these, put forwarded a plan to sell ‘Ediphone’. Edison liked it and approved Barnes’ plan. It worked out and they sold many ‘Ediphones’.
He finally became the business partner of Edison and launched his own company, ‘Edwin C. Barnes and Bros’.
What we can learn from Barnes?
What we can learn from Barnes?
Even though Edison refused Barnes’ proposal first, he finally achieved his dream after years. He was willing to pursue a small job because he believed it will help him to reach his goal.
He did not say, “I will work there for a few months, and if I get no encouragement, I will quit and get a job somewhere else.” He did say, “I will start anywhere. I will do anything Edison tells me to do, but before I am through, I will be his associate” — Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill
Let us take a look at what we can learn from this story?
To achieve your goal, you will face many barriers but you have to carry on.
Do whatever takes you to reach your goal.
Do small jobs which eventually helps you to achieve your dream
To have a burning desire. If you have a burning desire, nothing is impossible.

6 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.
We need to learn the lessons...
These men made headlines… but what about men who made heavens headlines>?
Hebrews tells of saints who obtained promises.
32,000 promises in the Bible.
What is you don’t have a promise?
1 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’ ”
2 Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying,
3 “Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
4 And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
5 “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.
6 And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” ’ ”
7 Then Isaiah said, “Take a lump of figs.” So they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
Elijah had the promise of rain, be he did not have the promise of fire.
Daniel had no promise that God would give him the interpretation of the Kings dream. He and his friends went to prayer.
21 Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”
23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”
24 But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

When Jesus walked on the water, He had prayed all night and his friends were.....
Cast out devils!
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
Pray. “Lord torment the devils with fire and brimstone”
Hear it devil, you will soon be in a lake of fire.
