What’s your Character like?

Our Group is pretty old.
Get the spiritual ages of everyone.
Spiritually I’m 31 years old.
Read Job 1: 6-12, Job 2:1-7

Job’s Character - this is how he treated his closest friend when she spoke foolishly
Highlights Job 2:11-13
How many of us will allow our spouse to go to someone’s house and spend 7 days and nights to try to be a comfort?
Highlight Job 3:1-26
Job’s character is to curse his very being
Eliphaz, Job’s Friend Job 4:1-5:27
Highlight vs. 4:1-4 encouragement
vs 5-8 - is a sideways rebuke
Is that something we do with one another?
Something to consider: When someone is responding to an accusation, the first thing we normally think is that person is being prideful. Review Job 6:1-30… His response can be called prideful, when the person receiving the message feels like they are above the person going through stuff.
Bildad Job 8:1-22, this man speaks like he’s defending God. 8:1-7
Job Responds Job 9:1-35… by asking the obvious question to the onlookers, Who can be justified before God?
Zophar Job 11:1-20, calls Job’s words useless, an even stronger accusation
Job responds, sarcastically Job 12:1-14:22…vs1-3 then vs. 7-10
The main question is, what is my character like?
Define Piety - the quality of being religious or reverent.
