Fake diamonds sold on busy street corners
We learned last chapter that we all have a ministry, and that ministry involves preaching the gospel. Sometimes, preaching the gospel can make us uncomfortable. Why is that? One reason is because we don’t like to be salesmen or push something on someone else, and we feel like that is what it takes to share the gospel with someone.

There are those who try to “sell” the gospel with tricky tactics
They try to make it more palatable
They really just sell themselves
We do not sell, we proclaim. Without money, come and feast.
We preach God’s Word as it is and invite people to examine it as closely as possible
We are simply servants behind the scenes
We are weak vessels
We are weak vessels
We break easy. We’re emotional. We don’t always do a good job at presenting the gospel.
This is to show that the worth is with the gospel, not with us.
