THE PRELUDE..................................................Variations on the Hymns
THE GREETING OF THE CONGREGATION......................Romans 1:7
*THE CALL TO WORSHIP.....................................From Psalm 57:9-11
Leader: I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations;
All: I will sing of you among the peoples.
Leader: For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
All: your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Leader: Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
All: let your glory be over all the earth.
*THE INVOCATION & THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
*THE HYMN OF PRAISE.....................Savior Like A Shepherd Lead Us (599)
PRIVATE & CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN
All: Good and gracious Father, we confess that we have known Your ways, and yet we fall short. You know our sin and failure, our rebellion and neglect of your law. Jesus, Lord of Mercy, you paid the penalty for our sins upon the cross. Forgive us, we pray, for so easily taking them up again. As our sin was nailed to the cross with you, so may we now die to our sin and live for you. Even as you have taken away sin's guilt, so now take away its power. Holy Spirit, cleanse us, restore us, and replace our sinful passion with holy passion for obedience and good works. With trust in the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
ASSURANCE OF PARDON & PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
Titus 3:5-7 - But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

*THE CONFESSION OF FAITH.............................The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried:
He descended into hell;
The third day he rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
