The Diviner's Will is not always the Divine Will
TWO PROPHECIES WITH GREAT IMPACT ON THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
In 2002 and 2003, a “Christian Prophet” (a foreigner) respected all over the world declared that in the 2004 elections, a preacher will become the palace and will ultimately become the ruler of the theocratic government of the Philippines.
In 2006, a “Christian prophet” (a foreigner) declared that President Arroyo was placed by God in power for a purpose and that she cannot be removed. During her time, oil will be discovered and the country will be great again.
There is no warning against the Divine Will but there is a warning against the diviner’s will
Jer 29:8-9. “8 Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. 9 They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them," declares the LORD.
THIS COUNTRY IS IN NEED OF HEALING
The political situation is murky and stormy.
The economy is finding it difficult to keep up with the added strains imposed by the run-away prices of world petroleum.
Cha Cha is supposed to be a nice dance but it now has become a dance of schemes and intrigues.
Oh yes, as a nation and as families, we need healing
SOLOMON, THE WISE KING UNDERSTOOD THAT THE NATION IS DEFEATED BY ITS OWN WEAKNESS AND NOT BY THE STRENGTH OF ITS ENEMIES
2 Chron 6:24-25. 24 "When your people Israel have been defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against you and when they turn back and confess your name, praying and making supplication before you in this temple, 25 then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel and bring them back to the land you gave to them and their fathers.
A biblical Truth: What happens to your country will surely affect the believers
Jer 29:7. “ Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."

will humble themselves and

seek my face and
turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
THE DIVINE WILL FOR THE HEALING OF THE LAND FOLLOWS A 3-STEP PROCESS ALL BASED ON PRAYER. What are the 3 components of the 3-step process of healing the land?
I. REPENTANCE FOR THE SIN OF SPIRITUAL ARROGANCE BEGINS THE HEALING OF THE LAND

The sin of spiritual arrogance is really a sin of ingratitude. We fail to recognize God as the provider of everything and so we begin to entertain thoughts that what we enjoy is the product of our abilities and efforts.
II. REPENTANCE FOR THE SIN OF PRAYERLESSNESS SPEEDS UP THE HEALING OF THE LAND
2 Chron 7:14. if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves AND PRAY…
The sin of prayerlessness is when people no longer devote time to pray regularly with others. The call to pray is extended to GOD’S PEOPLE as a group and not only to individual believers.
III. REPENTANCE FOR THE SIN OF LUKEWARM SPIRITUALITY GUARANTEES HEALING OF THE LAND
2 Chron 7:14. if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will HEAL THEIR LAND.
The sin of lukewarm spirituality is demonstrated by rejecting total Lordship of the Lord resulting to a repeated compromise with evil choices as we go through life

UNLESS WE AS CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES IN THE COUNTRY MAKE PRAYERFULNESS AS A LIFESTYLE, THE HEALING OF THE LAND WILL BE DELAYED. DON’T ALLOW IT.
UNLESS WE AS CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES IN THE COUNTRY MAKE THE PRAYER SERVICE A REGULAR PART OF OUR PRAYER LIFE, THE HEALING OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE DELAYED. DON’T ALLOW IT.
